Are you an Elvis Presley fan? I am ... and so are millions of others! Is there any artist who has more impersonators paying him tribute? Elvis is everywhere and even now, so many years after his death, people still go crazy for Elvis.
But it was only recently, when CBC Canada decided to do a reality show called "Cover Me Canada" that I found out that the song, "Black Velvet" recorded by Canadian artist, Alannah Myles, was about Elvis! Did you know that? Listen to the lyrics and it all makes sense. That piqued my interest: have other songs been written about Elvis? What else don't we know about him? What would we like to know?
